Bodywork
The type of bodywork that I am offering has its roots in the ‚Personal Bodywork’ developed by german philosopher and Zen-teacher Karlfried Graf von Dürckheim. Experience being deeply grounded in your body and in touch with your innate sense of inner peace.
About
Dürckheim had been asked by his japanese master to take the teachings of Zen back to Europe and apply them to the principles of his homeland culture. After having lived and studied for many years in Japan he moved back to Germany where he invented a new and revolutionary form of therapy, named ‚Initiatory Therapy’, to reconnect his patients with their true inner nature. Personal Bodywork, which formed the center-piece of his approach, is based on a mindset of surrender, presence and receptivity on the practitioner’s side and is void of a fixed technique.
Overwrite outdated patterns
As a client, you will take on a laying position that reflects and symbolizes the inner state that you would like to shift while I establish a connection with the part of you that is always well and balanced. Through resonance between myself as a practitioner and client, I receive intuitive guidance and ‚instructions‘ on how the session wants to unfold. One could call it a form of transpersonal communication where the client‘s unconscious is guiding the practitioner. Generally through gentle touch and presence I will reconnect you with your own essence for it to expand and ‚overwrite’ old, outdated patterns. Clients generally have the experience of being deeply grounded in their bodies and in touch with their innate sense of inner peace. Having developed my own individual approach and interpretation to this technique, I might be using soft drumming, singing, smudging or additional energy work during the session.
As I am in service of the clients wellness and wellbeing, of course a respect for your consent and boundaries will always be key in our work together.
